What is an online pop-up shop?

An online pop-up shop is a virtual retail store our team creates for various groups and organizations utilizing your desired colors and designs. Online pop-up shops typically operates for a limited period, often featuring a specific collection, purpose or team. These pop-up shops aim to create a sense of urgency and exclusivity, encouraging customers to make purchases within a short timeframe.  

What Costs are involved in starting an online POp-Up Shop?

Organizations or groups can start an online pop-up shop without any initial costs. The typical store would feature up to 4 (four) logos or designs, additional logos may incur charges. We have an extensive catalog of stock designs that can be customized for your organization. Online pop-up shops with Distinktive Merch Co. offer distinct advantages such as free setup for embroidery and FlexStyle. Your shoppers will see a $3 fee on their order at checkout for packaging and handling. This setup eliminates upfront expenses for the organization, allowing groups to launch and manage their online pop-up shops more affordably and efficiently.

how long does it take to get setup?

With prompt communication and minimal revisions, our team can launch your pop-up shop in just 3 business days, enabling you to start selling your merchandise promptly!

How long does an online POp-Up Shop stay open?

Typically, most Online Pop-Up Shops begin with an ordering window lasting approximately 2-3 weeks. However, some organizations opt for longer durations to accommodate diverse preferences. Each shop is customized to meet your specific requirements, ensuring flexibility and personalized service. This approach allows you to maximize engagement and sales while catering to the unique dynamics of your audience or community.

What items and styles are offered in an online Pop-Up Shop?

We have a few different store options. We can always customize colors and lineups for you. 

  • Basic Store - good for Superfan's, one time events, special offers, etc.

  • Basic Store + accessories

  • Basic Store + Premium options & Accessories

  • Corporate/Small Business Store

  • Custom Store


How long does it take for orders to be ready?

Outside of ordering windows, our regular production timeline is typically 7-10 business days. However, at the conclusion of an ordering window, we kindly request up to 3 weeks for order processing and preparation. This allows us to efficiently handle the influx of orders received during the window, ensuring that each order is meticulously fulfilled and ready for distribution according to your chosen method.

How do Shoppers get their orders?

Depending on how a group chooses to configure their store, order distribution can be managed through various methods, such as order pickup or direct shipping to individuals or groups.

For groups opting to handle distribution within their organization, it is their responsibility to designate a representative for order pickup at our location in Waukesha, WI. Alternatively, groups may choose to have Distinktive Merch Co ship distribution orders directly to their organization, with shipping costs covered by the group. Please note, we are unable to personally deliver orders directly to individual shoppers or organizations.

This setup offers flexibility in distribution methods, ensuring groups can choose the option that best suits their logistical needs and preferences.

Can I get SAMPLES OF ITEMS from MY online POP-UP SHOP?

Yes! Samples of items featured in your online pop-up shop are available for purchase. Organizers have the option to buy up to 1 item per style, with a maximum of 5 styles per calendar year, all at a discounted rate of 50% off! To place your sample order, please email us at Our goal of the sample program is to allows organizers to preview merchandise firsthand and offer a greater opportunity of visibility for their shoppers.
